Step 1

Click the "Join Now" button on the homepage or navigation menu.

Step 2

Fill in your company details including name, email, phone, and business registration number.

Step 3

Verify your email address by clicking the link sent to your inbox.

Complete your profile by adding your vehicles and routes.

Note: Registration is completely free with no setup fees.

To register and operate on Cargobridge, you'll need:

  • Business Registration: Valid company registration certificate
  • Tax Compliance: TRA (Tanzania Revenue Authority) TIN certificate
  • Vehicle Documents: Logbooks for all vehicles you want to list
  • Insurance: Valid comprehensive insurance for each vehicle
  • Driver Details: Valid driving licenses for your drivers
  • Bank Details: Business bank account for payments

All documents are verified within 24-48 hours.

Vehicle Management

Step 1

Login to your dashboard and navigate to "Vehicles" section.

Step 2

Click "Add New Vehicle" button.

Step 3

Enter vehicle details: registration number, capacity (in kg), vehicle type (truck, lorry, pickup, etc.).

Step 4

Upload required documents (logbook, insurance certificate).

Step 5

Set availability status and save. Your vehicle is now live!

Yes! You have full control over your fleet availability.

You can set vehicle status to:

  • Available: Ready to accept bookings
  • Unavailable: Temporarily not accepting jobs
  • Maintenance: Under repair or servicing

Simply go to Vehicles → Select vehicle → Change status. Updates are instant!

Routes help match you with customers traveling your way:

Step 1

Go to "Routes" in your dashboard.

Step 2

Click "Add New Route" and enter origin and destination cities.

Step 3

Set departure and arrival times, select operating days (Mon-Sun).

Step 4

Assign vehicles to this route and set your pricing.

Pro Tip: Add multiple routes to maximize booking opportunities!

Bookings & Payments

Our platform automatically matches you with customers:

  1. Automatic Matching: When a customer searches for your route, your vehicles appear in their results.
  2. Instant Notification: You receive email and SMS alerts for new booking requests.
  3. Dashboard Alert: Requests appear in your dashboard under "Pending Bookings".
  4. Accept/Decline: Review details and accept or decline within 24 hours.

Tip: Quick responses increase your acceptance rate and visibility!

Payment Process:

Step 1

Customer pays upfront when booking is confirmed (via M-Pesa, card, or bank transfer).

Step 2

Funds are held securely by Cargobridge until delivery completion.

Step 3

Complete the delivery and get customer confirmation.

Step 4

Funds are released to your account within 24 hours (minus 10% platform fee).

Payment Methods: Direct bank transfer or M-Pesa to your registered account.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 24+ hours before: Full refund to customer, no charge to you
  • 12-24 hours before: 50% cancellation fee paid to you
  • Less than 12 hours: 80% of booking value paid to you
  • No-show: Full payment transferred to you

You're protected from last-minute cancellations!

Troubleshooting

Try these solutions:

  1. Check your email spam/junk folder
  2. Verify your email and phone number in Settings
  3. Ensure notification preferences are enabled (Settings → Notifications)
  4. Add support@cargobridge.com to your contacts
  5. Check if your vehicles are marked as "Available"

Step 1

Go to the login page and click "Forgot Password?"

Step 2

Enter your registered email address.

Step 3

Check your email for a password reset link (valid for 1 hour).

Step 4

Click the link and create a new strong password.

Password must be at least 8 characters with letters and numbers.
